It was officially spring yesterday a little after 5AM EST and I thought this was the perfect photo to share. I love this flower, it was stunning. Blooming beautifully and for sale. I love to visit shops with beautiful plants, we have several that I can think of and each is a dream!

Citrus in the Sun – this is January in Charleston, SC!

Potted green plant, looks like oranges, orange fruit, a type of lime, sunshine in january, charleston sc

Believe it or not, these are not a variety of oranges. They’re limes. I don’t recall the name on the tag, I’m thinking they may be mixed with orange/lime? Interesting, hmmm? When I saw how the sun was hitting the fruit I had to take a quick snap. You see these mainly planted in large (gorgeous) containers. We’ve seen them at a few places we’ve visited. Stunning for sure!

The light streams in and the setting against the large live oak trees is magical. The bright yellow makes you smile each time you walk past.

Oh! The drama of this colorful plant!

OH! The drama, right? Doesn’t this remind you of a Chinese Lantern, but with a bit more color? It’s so vibrant against the green, isn’t it? I took this photo while out and about in Mount Pleasant, SC – at a cool design shop filled with beautiful things… including plants, flowers, urns, and more!
