Raspberry Island!

View of Raspberry Island from Port Clyde, Maine. I love the peacefulness of this area. It feels like heaven to me!

There is a wonderful painting of Raspberry Island by artist Jerry Weiss that we ran across in Charleston, SC one day! It was an art gallery (no longer in Charleston), and they had it on an easel near the door. We walked by and Fred spotted it right away.

Posting a week of photos, after all this rain, flooding etc. that Charleston experienced I am behind. Very behind. Back to normal posting next week!

What is so beautiful about the Maine coastline is the meeting of sea, sky and evergreens. It’s angular and rugged among so much else.

  Absolutely. We don’t have that here, so when we do get to Maine it takes our breath away! Just beautiful!
