I believe this photo was taken near Lobster Cove while visiting Monhegan (an island off the coast of Maine) several years ago. Just L👀k at that green! The water is churned up and rough. It just doesn’t seem possible how water that appears grey’ish blue is almost a translucent green against the foam. The hard rocks that are dark from water outline and make this image even more dramatic.

Looks like it is raining or possibly a storm. Wind is blowing the tops off the surf while the waves further out appear to be smother out by rain.

I just looked back through my photos since I took many around that same time. It doesn’t look like rain but there was a heavy fog. I remember those days you could feel the dampness from the fog. 💕💕
