“And into the mountains I go”…

I took this photo in Waynesville, NC in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park some time ago. When a little relaxation is in order, these are the photos I gravitate to. Mountains or water, there is something so peaceful about both…

I took this photo a while back – location: the Great Smoky Mountains National Park just on the other side of the fence from The Swag property. If walking to the barbecue and short on time, we’ll walk the road to Gooseberry Knob, on the way back we’ll often take the path that leads back to the Swag but this time in the park. The beauty, stillness, trees, mountain views, etc. are such a grounding presence. Deep breath and you’re reset and good to go!

I’ve always loved this quote “And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul” – John Muir

It’s so true, isn’t it? I saw cards at Trader Joe’s once with this quote – they’re special.

Well if you feel a bit of stress coming on, you know where to go! #headtothemountains

🌄 Until next time…

    1. Same here! We’ve heard Will Jones at The Swag read this quote at the picnic on Gooseberry, and before that I found very cool cards with this quote at Trader Joe’s. This quote is a favorite, and so are you! 🥰😘
