Yep, that’s me, looking snazzy!

Me…
Me…

Me (in my runway days, ha ha)… going for the shorty dress and the wicked short bangs (thanks mom!). I remember those bang trims… (I wonder if there was a template that was taped to my head? Ahhh this makes me laugh…) If my grandma saw them she would have  a fit and take me to get them fixed, ha ha… not sure which version this is above. I look like I’m going somewhere special… have the purse and everything! Too funny!

Fred has the day off, so I’m going to do the same, have a great day and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow!

Today is someone’s birthday… and I hear she’s taking the day off… but, she’ll be back tomorrow… Same bat time… Same bat place…

Thanks to all of you who check this blog daily… you are the greatest birthday gift ever!

Enjoy your day!

My post from one year ago…  Birthday Candles, AARP and a Colonoscopy!

My post from two years ago…  What a cutie!! Happy day!

Meeting for coffee…

Kate!

Meet my new friend and fellow blogger, Kate Mura. Kate has an interesting daily photo blog (it’s not easy to post something daily!), VISUAL ST. PAUL, check it out if you get a moment!

What a nice lady! We met at Cafe Medley on Sullivan’s Island. What a cool place! Hint, hint… GREAT coffee! They had some good looking food, bottles of wine, all kinds of delicious treats! I see a future post for sure! Fred and I will have to go back in the name of research ;)

Kate is cool. She is so interesting and full of wise words. I hope that I’ll be like that one day! It was nice to meet you Kate! I look forward to meeting you again next time you’re in Charleston!!

Catch you back here tomorrow!

You again? Ugh…!

Charlie beast

Sweet beast. Charlie is our Jack Russell terrier… he’s got the BIGGEST personality!

You? Again? Ugh!

I always thought it was so cool how our last JRT, Reggie, was always happy to see us. No. Matter. What.

Charlie… a different story, he has a way with his eyes. You don’t have to wonder how he’s feeling! See this photo… “Is it YOU? AGAIN? With that damned camera? UGH!” Can you see it too? Ha ha…

Will she just go away?

“Maybe if I ignore her, she’ll just go away?” OK Charlie… gotcha, jeez!

By the way… I just love all that UTILITY Canvas… the pillow, the throw, and something else that we cover the seats with so they’re quick in the washer! Good stuff!

Catch you back here tomorrow!

Monhegan Island… artists everywhere!

I love this photo! It makes me look like I’m an artist, hee hee… If I would have listened to my friend (KD you know who you are) I would be painting now… but instead I’m going to watch and sketch… I need to get my drawing skills perfected before I kill another canvas with a bad drawing! Maybe this winter I will paint? Hmmm. Only time will tell! Whichever path I choose to take I will always love this photo. Art is fabulous in so many ways. You can meet the coolest people through art, whether you paint or you just have heartfelt interest!

Catch you back here tomorrow!

Did hell freeze over? Did the fat lady sing?

Nope, but Ken DeWaard came to town and got me to paint! A miracle? Yes, indeed! If you aren’t familiar with Ken’s work, check it out! He’s got a great website… http://kendewaard.com !

I was quite thankful that I had backup… had a great time no doubt! My painting was more of an exercise, takes the pressure off, well, for the most part anyway!

Ken’s painting… genius! AND it looked so easy… If you look closely you can probably see steam coming out of my ears I’m thinking so hard… but had the best time! Thanks Ken! (And thank you Fred!!)

Hey, this is the perfect opportunity to mention Florida’s Forgotton Coast Plein Air Invitational – Ken will be participating in this plein air event, and from the photos of last years work WHOA!… so be checking his website after the event is over for the latest pieces!

Hey! I want to also give a shout out to Carlisle Stroud… (Fred’s dad)…

H A P P Y  B I R T H D A Y ! ! We wish you the happiest birthday. EVER! xxoo us
