Charleston Photo – Palm Trees in Sunlight

Three tall palm trees, a portion of a house with chimney, blue sky
Palm Trees – Charleston, SC

Ahhh, taking photos in Charleston, SC is a treat. Everywhere you look there is more to look at, learn from and appreciate…

I KNOW! The way the sun was hitting these palm trees there was no possible way for me to walk by without stopping to take a photo. I especially love these tall palm trees. These were in between two homes in Charleston, SC. I only snapped one quick photo so I was happy to see that it turned out.

Palm trees have a crazy small root ball. You would think that with all the wind and rain (not to mention hurricanes), the trees would go down quickly, but they don’t. They’re amazing to watch in the wind, and I love the sound they make when it’s gusty outside.

This photo was taken on our walk downtown on Christmas Day. It felt good to get out and move before meeting up with relatives for a wonderful dinner.

Catch you back here tomorrow!
