This plant is such a joy I cannot even begin to express how much I absolutely adore it. We planted a few in pots last year – around this time, they bloomed all summer long! Literally you do nothing but make sure they don’t get too dry (especially in a pot). Give them a nice drink of water when they look thirsty and they’re good!

This is a Gomphrena pulchella – we bought these at Hyams Garden Center (James Island, SC) – it’s a Proven Winners brand and their name for it is TRUFFULA™️ PINK. It says on the tag, Full Sun. In the hot summer it seems like we moved the pots to a part of the yard that received a lot of sun, but in the super hot afternoon sun it was more dappled. You don’t have to deadhead them. I would snip a few every now and then to put in a tiny vase on the window sill. So beautiful!
