Mary Pettis. She’s a fabulous artist and workshop instructor. Her work is breathtaking, she paints both plein air (outdoors) and in the studio. Just look at the breathtaking light in this scene. One (of the many) things that I love about Allison Ramsey’s plans is the fact that they can fit into an existing neighborhood and blend seamlessly. This home can easily look as if it’s been there for a long time and maintained meticulously. It’s important (to me) when building in an older neighborhood.
