Spanish Moss in Live Oak – Charleston, SC

Just here to wish everyone a happy Saturday! Sending an image of
a live oak with the sun hitting the draping Spanish Moss and highlighting the resurrection fern – which is quite a miracle. A Strong Presence

The large live oak trees in Charleston have such presence. They’re so strong. They have so much life with their branches reaching, twisting and turning. They are such beautiful trees. This is a close up of just how cool the shadows are on these trees. This is without the Spanish moss and Resurrection Fern. This is a younger tree. We planted it about 24 years ago, it was 10 years old at time of planting. We never guessed we would have seen it so large in our lifetime. Continue reading “A Strong Presence”

Cruise bound – 11 years ago today.

11 years ago today… ELEVEN! Where has the time gone? I remember it like it was yesterday. My parents came to visit from Michigan, and we went on a cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines out of Charleston, SC – we had so much fun.
