Who doesn’t love house plans? We all like what we like, some of us are traditional, some modern, some of us like large homes and others prefer smaller. Whatever your preference there are plenty of house plans out there. What I really love is that most architects/designers will allow modifications to plans, assuring that it is your very own special place. I don’t create these house plans, I simply share what I like, and sometimes mention what I would change to make a plan work for me. This is fabulous plan, I simply LOVE the front porch and the side screen porch. It would be so difficult to leave that space! #stunning

I love cottage house plans and think they have such charm. This plan has a 8′ deep porches. What I love about this Allison Ramsey Architects is the ability to make modifications if you have something in mind that is really important to you. I might opt for a slightly deeper porch on the front and back, and you’ll see via the link below how their website shows images from homes that have been built so you get a good idea on modifications.

Pretty eye catching, isn’t it? I love the French doors, the ceiling fans, the dog that appears to sit so regally on the front porch. This is a fabulous house plan full of wonderful spaces. I like the clean lines of it, the center hallway and the flexibility of the spaces. Not to mention the obvious… the front porch!

What a super cool plan. This home can be as net zero friendly as you like. GO Logic offers many options – you can select a plan, and then look through the many options for everything. The look changes significantly with each making each plan very versatile. They’ve got some gorgeous two story plans, but this one story caught my eye…

Sweet, sweet, sweet! I absolutely adore this small house plan/guest suite – whichever use, it’s magnificent! I love the white, and also love the metal roof, so when it rains you have that lovely sound to listen to. The windows are gorgeous, everything about this is perfection! I think this could be the most fabulous pool house (or guest house, office, studio, the list goes on) in our backyard. What fun it would be to have an outbuilding with so many uses? A separate space for your guests to stay, yet be close at the same time. I think it could be so fun. I LOVE the screened porch, it would be facing our pool and screened in, so on nice evenings you could sit outside and spend the evening!

I love a screened porch! Especially when doors open onto it, which can fill your home with the scent of spring air (at least right now!) It’s a nice place to kick back and relax and extends the footprint of your house with living space (even though it’s not counted in the square footage) that feels comfortable a good bit of the year (depending where you live). This is one sweet plan!

Have you ever been to a Southern Living Showcase Home? If you run across one in your travels, definitely check it out! It’s always fun to actually go inside a certain house plan so you can envision it as your very own. But it’s also helpful to go inside to see not necessarily how they have a room decorated, but how the furniture is placed – you can see if you like the flow that way or if you prefer it a different way. This home is a beauty, isn’t it? Look at all the details! It’s the perfect plan for a newer area but it also fits in so nicely in an established neighborhood! It looks like a well-built, gorgeous home that was built long ago but kept in perfect condition. Established neighborhoods are so nice, you have larger trees and everything around it has already been figured out and perfected. You can live the best of both worlds. New house, older neighborhood… #sweet!
