I feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful place that has so much to offer. I’ll give you a few of my favorites (in case you’ve never visited Charleston before)…

He can be as wild as the day we picked him up, although he naps a wee bit more, but not much! I happen to look up and see his ear standing up, grabbed my phone and snapped a photo. Haha…

What a thoughtful gift to drop off – a nice surprise. As y’all know, I happen to LOVE flowers of all kinds, and orchids are so special. Most require minimum care (at least in my experience) and will bloom again in time (have patience!) – A stunning combo of colors between the leaves and the flowers. This is a small orchid, so I’m giving it ice chips…

I don’t recall seeing all these different colored berries in the past. Sometimes it’s the little things that really stand out. #beautiful

This is a snippet of the (original) living room that was previously the dining room… last week we moved the rooms around again – changed the furniture – and it’s like new! This is now the living room again. It’s so refreshing to walk into a space that has been completely transformed. This shot mainly showcases the view of the gorgeous trees and oh! The shadow on the wall from the sunlight on the sheepskin – Love it! Nothing like shopping your own home to find treasures and furniture, paintings etc. to change your views!

What’s the hurry, right? I think we can all take cues from nature and slow down and enjoy this life that is zipping by so unbelievably fast. It feels as if the leaves were just falling (our southern spring) and then the hot days of summer were upon us. Now it’s the end of July (well, tomorrow!) and school supplies are on sale…

Rockport is a quintessential, 4th of July, all-American, town in Maine. It’s American as apple pie (at least to me, a visitor). Just look at this idyllic setting. What’s not to adore? Of course, this photo was taken (many years ago) during the nicest time of year (September). Not too many people, which is nice – and perfect weather (thankful).

Who doesn’t love the California coast? The views are stunning – so different from the east coast, equally beautiful, just a different kind of beauty. It’s amazing how our country has some major differences in scenery – how fortunate we are…
Continue reading “Taken on a visit to San Fran!”Well, hello! Happy Saturday – hope you have wonderful plans (which can mean no plans, hehe) for the weekend. I love these colorful frogs – they always seem so happy jumping around. It seems like Fred is always saving frogs from the pool. Scoop them out and they jump right back in 🙄.

Seems like a good day for a visit with friends, something delightful thrown on the grill, a nice fruit salad, a fun dessert – tunes playing in the background and a lot of smiles. With that being said…

I took this photo at Crosby’s Fish & Shrimp (back in January!) – I love this place. Fresh fish and when they have the food truck open it’s fabulous! They also have dock parties – which is cool – keep an eye on their social media for updates!

Everywhere I go, I find myself snapping a few photos. I loved the color of these bright and happy flowers (I believe I was at Lowes for something, but always wander past the flowers and sneak a few photos). Something to give you a cheerful start to your day. After all, it is Saturday, woohoo!
