There are such beautiful lines to this plan. This is another plan that could easily fit into an existing neighborhood as well as a newer neighborhood. It has style and charm, which is so important to me. It looks like a home that will stand the test of time and age beautifully.

It was a sunny, pretty day, first day of Spring when I made this pasta salad. The sun was warm and fresh ingredients sounded divine. So I whipped together this pasta salad, great served on a bed of arugula and spinach. Thankful my husband doesn’t mind standing outside and tending to the grill on days like today when the yellow pollen is wafting through the air.

Spring is such a beautiful time here in Charleston, SC. Everything (or at least it feels like literally EVERYTHING) is in bloom or about to be. The flowers are stunning, the garden stores are packed, and the need to plant is very real. Planting herbs, flowers, trees or shrubs, it makes your yard a happy place.

It was officially spring yesterday a little after 5AM EST and I thought this was the perfect photo to share. I love this flower, it was stunning. (I took this photo, but this is not at my house) – I’m not sure of the name of it, but there were plenty and they were beautiful! Very springy! The weather is warming the flowers are blooming – it’s our most beautiful season.

What have you been doing? Oh, not much, just deleting overhead power lines from a beautiful image, sigh… In this area where I snapped this photo while driving by (as the passenger) it was riddled with power lines. So many of them. I don’t have technical wizardry to remove these things, I erase a little at a time until *poof* it’s gone!

Stunning plan. The exterior is exquisite. The shake roof is so beautiful. So many details make this plan one that will be around for generations. Hank Buffington – a fabulous artist with a great sense of humor. His paintings reflect the beauty found in nature & life. Sachuest Sunrise (above) is a particularly difficult one to paint (to me), so many similar colors – you really have to know what you’re doing. I love the light on the water, the rocks and sense of distance and the sky which makes the water feel as if it goes on forever.
