Prim Haus is known for their fabulous house plans and this is no exception. While I do love a traditional plan I also love a modern plan. I would love to have this plan in the mountains (or by the water), can you imagine? The amount of detail is over the top.

Of course there are many ways to scroll (on your computer/tablet/device) less and think more, but this is a fun one. You don’t realize how “in the zone” you get while doing a jigsaw puzzle. You go from thinking about everything to thinking only about what you’re focused on and let me tell you, your brain needs that relief!

Beautiful reflection in the ditch holding water from the major storm we had the other day. The wind was wild as was the amount of rain. A nearby roof was ripped off and sent sailing quite a distance. Large windows of a business were blown in. How bizarre. The aftermath looked like a hurricane. For most of us it just took some raking and bagging of leaves (in this area leaves fall this time of year like autumn). We were fortunate.

How sharp is this? Clocking in at under 1,000 square feet – this plan is fabulous. If you aren’t in need of large square footage this plan maximizes space brilliantly. It’s such a good looking plan whether done in shingles (as shown on their website, wow!) or in wood siding. Absolutely gorgeous, the inside is just as spectacular!

Charleston, South Carolina is alive in a frenzy of vibrant colors right now. The azaleas are beginning to bloom prolifically adding to the color from the camellias, tulip trees where the blossoms have just recently made a transition into bright green leaves and a host of other blooming things. Early spring is my favorite part, temps can still be cool (but can also be warm). Like most of the country, some days we experience both.

Spring is definitely in the air here in Charleston, South Carolina. Our winters are lovely and aren’t freezing cold for the most part. Some days are spring like, (as I write this for example), then it’ll turn chilly for a few days. Spring in our area is like fall elsewhere. Our leaves drop like crazy! On the plus side, the cardinals are back! Along with a few other (unidentified) birds that are gorgeous!

Wouldn’t this be a wonderful plan to build in the mountains of North Carolina? In an idyllic nature setting overlooking mountains and woods – I think this would be stunning. I would have it blend into the landscape so as to not take away from the natural beauty of the setting. This plan is larger than it looks, so there is a lot of room for living!
