What A Nice Thought…

Dark overpass on busy highway with the word PEACE painted in blue, peace, signs, driving

We were heading back from Charlotte, NC yesterday and I saw “PEACE” painted on an overpass. How timely. Is there anything we should wish for more than this? Despite the heavy traffic the sentiment jumped out at me as something that is sorely needed (my opinion)… So thank you to whoever painted it, looks like it may have been there a while, but peace is always needed.

Morning View – Running Errands…

Morning View – Mount Pleasant, SC

This is the morning view from a little shop we stopped in to grab a bite to eat after running a few errands. It seemed like a good day for a treat. While I was sitting at the table near the window I thought how grateful we are to be able to go on a weekday to a little place with a nice view and enjoy a little treat.

The Gibson House Plan by Allison Ramsey Architects!

Exquisite home with two floors of French door, 3 French doors on each level, 3 dormers at the top, dusk, all lights on
The Gibson House Plan by Allison Ramsey Architects

Isn’t this a stunning house plan? A master suite downstairs (as well as everything you can imagine!) I love this image of theirs, so dramatic. The lighting is perfection and all the French doors really make a statement. I love the shutters on either side of each door. Spectacular! It almost looks like a home you might see in the historic district of Charleston, SC

Lupine in bloom!

Blooming beautifully and for sale. I love to visit shops with beautiful plants, we have several that I can think of and each is a dream!

After the Ice/Snow – “Winter” Resumes…

View from the battery in Charleston, SC, water with ripples, blue sky with clouds and sun, feel the sun

This photo was taken on Murray Blvd last week, overlooking the Ashley River in Charleston, SC. After days of being indoors this bright, sunny and warm day was fabulous. With temps hovering near 60℉ the shining sun sure felt good. We decided to take a walk on “The Battery” and it was so pleasant. Many people out walking, jogging, fishing. Quite a delight to feel the warm sun on your face.
