Well! Winter went by quickly, don’t you think? We’ve had buds on trees and shrubs for a while now. It’s so beautiful to see. I like Spring, it’s a pretty time – the scents wafting from the various plants smell divine! It can be pollen filled, but still beautiful!

The sky was actually much more vivid than this. I took this photo inside looking out, it was late so there wasn’t much light on the window. I love the darkness around the window, but with the grids and the tree. This was a quick changing sunset, absolutely spectacular!

We have a palm tree in our backyard that popped up on its own. You see them all over the Lowcountry. I love the tropical flair they bring to the yard. They start just as a tropical growth, palmy looking more like a plant. They grow quickly, provide shade and the most wonderful relaxing sounds when there is the slightest wind. #itmakestheyardanoasis

This is a townhouse plan. Unique, and can be absolute perfection in so many cases. The floor plans are flip flopped for each. You enter via the front door for the plan on the right, walk into a kitchen, dining and living space. For the left side, you enter via the back, and into the same rooms. Which means the living area is in the front of the plan on the left and the kitchen is in the front of the plan on the right. I really like seeing only one door. Both are two story.

I can imagine this house plan in so many different settings. Since it has so many wonderful windows and doors, I can see this plan fitting perfectly where there is a water view or maybe woods – any view would be amazing. I love the wrap around porches and the clean lines of this Dutch inspired house plan. I think this house has amazing lines. I love the cuts in the roof.

This house plan has so many wonderful features not to mention a large screened porch on the back. What a dream! The three windows in the front… that’s the kitchen! Absolutely perfect! There is a master down with an additional bedroom as well as two bedrooms upstairs with a small sitting room – so nice for guests (or family)! The one bedroom downstairs could be used as an office if you’re working from home like so many of us!

I LOVE well made items. A dog collar, from the nicest feeling leather that will hold up for a very long time and is able to get wet (this company KNOWS dogs love water), it’s just so sharp, I think, if you have a dog, you will be very interested! I just happened to have a model, although he’s a hairy little guy so it took about a zillion photos before I could see the collar. This is one sharp collar, especially with the GC stamp – very classy!

Just look at this amazing expanse of a porch – Can you imagine the wonderful gatherings this space could accommodate? There is also a rear porch accessible via the downstairs bedroom, casual dining space as well as the keeping room. Matter of fact, if you had glass door on the front and back door you could see in the front right through to the back!
