The other day I wrote a post and the image was near this area (looking in the opposite direction) – this is at lower tide, where you see mud in some places. The view is ever changing, but always amazing. There are always birds in the marsh. The grass changes color with the seasons.

A Spring Wrap!
Now that the weather is warming up (quickly) it’s time to switch to lighter fare. Something fresh and different, but tasty nonetheless. Let me tell you, this is a winner. Who loves to read? I’m curious… of those of you who love to read, how many of you grew up reading? I cannot imagine not wanting to travel to faraway places from wherever I am. Reading offers such an escape. It enlightens you and makes you a better person I think. Books can make you compassionate, well traveled, knowledgeable no matter what time in history, or it can simply transport you to another time or place. Whether that place is the beach or different countries.

This home is a beauty, isn’t it? Look at all the details! It’s the perfect plan for a newer area but it also fits in so nicely in an established neighborhood! It looks like a well-built, gorgeous home that was built long ago but kept in perfect condition. Established neighborhoods are so nice, you have larger trees and everything around it has already been figured out and perfected. You can live the best of both worlds. New house, older neighborhood… #sweet!

This “recipe” is a family favorite. My mom has some rendition of this most days of the week. Pasta (all different pastas, brown rice pasta, regular pasta, multigrain pasta – each adds its own twist) – This is a pretty quick meal that you can change up to use what you’ve got. Don’t want to use pasta? Use Zoodles or the like, I think a little pasta will keep you full longer, just load up on the veggies.

Charm. Oodles of charm. The screen porch is such a nice addition. I like that you have both screened and not screened porches. This plan seems like such a lovely place to be. It would nestle in nicely in an existing neighborhood with big trees and other, similar, very nice homes.

Yes, even I overcook eggs… #damnit
Decisions, decisions. What to make for breakfast? What to make for lunch? What to make for dinner? Is anyone else becoming weary from thinking about it a little too often? I wasn’t sure what I wanted, I just knew it wasn’t scrambled eggs, or a sourdough English muffin. I wanted something that was going to make me FEEL GOOD, give me lots of ENERGY. I think we can all agree that 2020 was a hell of a year. We stayed right here, still haven’t been anywhere. I know it’s a small price to pay, but it hasn’t been easy. I cannot wait to get to MI to see my family. I can’t wait for them to get here to see us, and I am certainly missing this view from a cottage we rented in Port Clyde, Maine. The sound of the surf. This photo is a blast from the past, 2007 to be exact. Fred and I were on the cruise with my parents. It departed Charleston and went to George Town (Grand Cayman), Cozumel (Mexico) and Key West (Florida). I appear a bit apprehensive in this photo. This was before the ship left port. The cruise was in March, and the weather was beautiful here. We arrived in style…
