We celebrated Thanksgiving this year with my niece and her family – they’re on top of things and already had their Christmas tree up and decorated… so of course I had to snap a few photos of their ornaments! Beautiful! Continue reading “A holiday message!”

I’ve never heard of a King tide until the past few years. A King Tide is a pretty non-scientific term that describes the highest tides that have been occurring lately – Read more about King Tides via mycoast.org! Continue reading “King Tides in Charleston, SC!”

St. Philip’s Church – Charleston, SC – This photo was taken several years ago in January approaching sunset. The color of the light on the church is magnificent. I also love the shadows from the homes reflected on the buildings on the right side of the image. Continue reading “Sunset: St. Philip’s Church”
We stopped at this restaurant for the first time on Fred’s birthday this year. We’ve always heard rave reviews, and I can see why. The food was excellent as were the people, and it sure is more fun when the place you visit has a good vibe to it.
Minero has an excellent vibe. Continue reading “Add this restaurant to your list: MINERO – Charleston, SC and Atlanta, GA!”

Years ago we bought this cool tinsel tree. Then as we were walking the dog we saw that someone cleaned out their attic and placed these vintage ornaments (still in the box) by the road with the trash. We picked them up and they worked perfectly on this tree. It was like Christmas to pick up something so cool! Continue reading “Decluttering Your Holiday Decorating Stash!”

I love placing something cool on our white tulip table, grabbing a ladder, and snapping a photo looking down upon it. Continue reading “Holiday Thoughts…”

The big snow of 2017 in Charleston, SC allowed us the opportunity to build this snowman. Of course I didn’t think about it until the snow was rapidly melting, so I was thrilled to get him put together and a photo taken. Continue reading “Make A Snowman Any Chance You Get!”

This is the St. Mary’s Way house plan by Our Town Plans. This plan is 3,671 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. I love that there are options for two additional bedrooms. One as an additional guest suite, adding 381 square feet, and the other is an optional attic suite, adding 762 square feet!
Another interesting fact about this home is that there are two ways that it can be placed on a lot and both are equally as stunning! See Our Town Plans website to see the other elevations (click the orange link above). Click HERE to see a few real life images of this home (exterior). Wow!

There is a story to this recipe, which I will explain in a bit. The recipe? Artichoke Chicken. This recipe sounded fabulous to me, since I like artichokes, chicken (and artichoke dip!) So I gave it a whirl and WOW! A quick mix of a few ingredients, spread on top of chicken breasts and popped into the oven. *Poof* MAGIC is served! I kid you not! Sherri Cassell. Her pastels are magical aren’t they? Well, so are her oil paintings! The bright pops of orange are stunning. Ojai Meadows – What a beautiful location! That’s one thing, plein air painters see some beautiful countryside, don’t they? We should be more like them, keeping our eyes out for the beautiful things in life! Continue reading “Featured Artist: Sherri Cassel!”
We have purchased about 4,700 sample size containers of paint from Benjamin Moore. We want to be absolutely, positively sure on this color selection thing, because it’s a big deal. A bad color can break a room, while a great color can make it sing!
